It all began in Detroit Michigan in 1911, when a group of business and professional people got together
to discuss the news of the day and exchange ideas and advice about their businesses and professions.
In 1917, the National Exchange Club was officially incorporated. Exchange has since grown to be the
Nation’s largest national service organization boasting local clubs serving communities throughout the
United States and Puerto Rico.
The National Exchange Club is neither sectarian nor political, but represents business and professional
people united in service to make their respective communities better places to live.
Our Motto: “UNITY FOR SERVICE”
Expresses our dedication to search for ways in which we can repay our Local communities and Nation for the benefits we have individually received.
